Wow, how time flies. It doesn’t even feel as if I’ve had any vacation time yet and the rest of the photos from Animecon 2010 aren’t even up yet, so normally you’d expect me to be uploading some more photos from there right? Well, no, not this time. Since I’m leaving for a 10-day trip to Japan in a few hours I wanted to upload my newest photoshoot, since I had to finish touching up those photos for a cosplay magazine anyways before flying for Japan.

The photoshoot is of the character Horo from Spice and Wolf. I can really recommend reading and watching this series, it’s just fantastic!

Animecon 2010 photoshoot #1 – Bayonetta

I’ve finished up the photos from the first photoshoot I did at Animecon 2010. The photoshoot is of the video game character Bayonetta and was taken at a nearby park on Saturday of the convention after the cosplay show. I had lots of fun doing this shoot and working with this great cosplayer, getting all the poses and angles covered.

Romeo x Juliet photoshoot

With exams over I finally have time to work on my photos again. Back during Easter I did a photoshoot with Calssara and Lumis-mirage of their Romeo x Juliet cosplay, with which they participated in WCS 2009 and now the waiting is over.. I’ve gotten around to uploading them ^^;

Back from Animecon 2010

Finally home again after a really nice weekend at Animecon in The Netherlands.

The convention was fantastic and the cosplayers where simply amazing! I’ve started sorting through all the photos I’ve taken but it’ll take a while before I’m done with all of them so here’s small preview of what’s to come.

Animecon 2010

It’s early morning and I should be in bed sleeping, but the bags are packed and I’ll be heading for the airport soon to catch my flight to Amsterdam and then onwards to Almelo by train to attend this year’s Animecon and I’m really looking forward to seeing how things are.

I attended in 2008 as well, but only as a normal guest. This year I’ll be there as a J-popcon organizer and get to see how the show is run which is always interesting to see and you can always learn something from watching others.

Another interesting thing is that Animecon will be hosting a EuroCosplay qualification round so there’s a guarantee for lots of awesome cosplays and with the weather getting warmer there could even be the possibility of some nice outdoor photos :)
